NEW BOOSTER STATION , WEST KUWAIT — DETAIL ENGINEERING & DESIGN FOR BS, ISC & GC (PACKAGES):
The Booster Station Facility is part of the West Kuwait facilities that process crude oil and associated gas, recovered from the Umm Gudair and Minagish Fields, before they are transferred to either the South and North Tank Farms (crude storage) or the Mina Al Ahmadi (MAA) Refinery (gas and condensate). The BS processing facilities were to be located in West Kuwait.
Associated sour gas was to be taken from four local Gathering Centers and compressed through two stages of compression before being fed to Gas Dehydration Units and then on to the Conditioning Unit and export. RSCPL had worked on detailed engineering and design of instrumentation and electrical systems for the same
The condensate from the compression stages and the conditioning units was passed via a color removal stage and a Dehydration Unit. The treated condensate was then pumped to MAA Refinery. Facilities were provided to recycle a part of the condensate that cannot be exported to certain GCs The Booster Station plant was to export a maximum of 234 MMSCFD of conditioned gas and up to 69 actual MBPD of treated condensate
